I think I’m caught up with the weekly poetry now.
by Simeon Koh
A brother and his younger sister
were building a sand castle
on a busy, populated beach.
The whole afternoon came hither and thither.
On it, the sunset dazzled
that which stood as tall as their arms could reach.
“Brother, that’s as tall and big as we can build.
What do we do now?”
“Let the tide bring it down
and start again next summer.”
